Ugh... AIDS treatment has come so far and now we have to deal with an old bacteria that is resistant to drugs by our own fault.  I should just invent a total body prophylactic.

It's stuff like this that makes you almost wanna be celibate, or at least take care of your own sexual needs by yourself. Also, I think A-sexuals maybe on to something...like living longer than the rest of us.

lava lady made a very good point, that it's an old virus that's come back to haunt us, when we should've eradicated it years ago!

This is why more people should use condoms and get tested. There are people in the world who don't care about their bodies or anyone else's when people don't care enough to take the proper steps to make sure that they are "safe" then things like this happen. The sad part is, it doesn't have to happen.

Haha!

That reminds me of an episode of Bizarre Foods when Andrew goes to an escargot caviar farm.  You see thousands of snails squirming around but when the camera zooms in the snails are all intertwined doing the nasty but they are asexual zip there are bunches of them all connected like tinker toys or something.

If humans were asexual no one would ever go anywhere or do anything else!!  LMAO at the thought!!

The use of condoms and celibacy are good ideas for a gazillion reasons but ain't gonna happen.  Teachers and doctors and preachers gotta get real.

A bacterium as scary as this will be a short-term problem compared to a virus like AIDS.  If the cause of death is septic shock, then we have treatments and they can be quickly improved.  Vaccines and antibiotics against bacteria are also much easier to develop, and there are many animal models for gonorrhea already out there.

then the super bacteria bug would just become a super duper bacteria bug ...

I don't believe in those AIDs drugs that they claim is 'working'
they don't cure, just keeps the virus inert ... but still ready to infect anyone else it gets the chance to,

Actually they work by reducing the virus load in the bloodstream, which makes the virus load in all other body fluids much less, so the person is far less infective.  For this reason treatment of anyone testing positive should be begun as soon as possible.

I like to keep a wallpaper of her in the office. You should try it. Office girls give you a hard time, but you just turn to them and say

"She is just a poor misunderstood lass who was lead astray, honestly, she seems a really nice young girl who just needs someone to give her some decent attention, I think she is lovely"

Then step back and watch the reactions

Seriously, ya gotta try it :w00t:
