A lot of their gun violence is over drugs that people in the US buy.

He's right. The North and South American black market on arms exists almost exclusively because of the USA's white market. Tighter US gun regulation means less inventory for the black market in Mexico.

lol, b.s.

In the eight years since the Zetas were organized, more than 120,000 Mexican soldiers have deserted the army, according to the government's records. Yet the country's defense officials have made little effort to track their whereabouts, security experts said, creating a potential pool of military-trained killers for the drug-trafficking gangs wreaking havoc in the country.

and they took guns with them, American guns there are the ones obama and holder sent. it has nothing to do with usa white market, there are no full auto rifles on sale in usa except by special license,

your theory was debunked before.

Yeah....the only American guns here in Mexico were the 2,000 sent during F&F. LOL!
Perhaps he was also referring to the reasons behind all the gun violence which is directly linked to the  huge demand and high prices in the US.

Gangs/cartels are the cause of most gun violence.  Just as they are in the U.S..

When as long as we are calling bullsh**, what about his twp statements at the end:
  • Americans believe that all people are created equally
  • It is our responsibility to make sure we treat one another with dignity and respect.

Are these statements any more valid than his comments about guns?

This is the way I see it, you can take it or leave it.

American Gangster: "Hey, Mexican Gangster, I want some cocaine from your neighbor down south."
Mexican Gangster: "Well, he wants cash and we want guns."
American Gangster: "Deal!"

later...

Canadian Gangster: "Hey, American Gangster, I want some cocaine."
American Gangster: "Got any marijuana?"
Canadian Gangster: "Yeh, got any guns as well?"

And so it goes...

idk why you ppl don't get it.

cartels have thousands armed army deserters joining in, why do cartels need to buy American guns, when they got huge inflow of army guns with gunners. 120.000 in 8 years. let suppose only 1\3 were joinin, you still got, 5000  new recruits a year.

Here is an interesting piece from Stratfor on where the guns are coming from in Mexico.

http://www.stratfor....90-percent-myth

While there is a healthy black market trade in arms from the US to Mexico, according to Startfor, the arms that are more and more favored by the cartels are straight up military - fully automatic assault rifles, main battle rifles, light machine guns, and in some cases grenades and RPGs.  These weapons are coming from the police, the Mexican military, the Chinese, and other Central/South American countries, not the US in any large numbers.

Why would the admin order thousands of weapons to go to the most violent, criminal organizations in Mexico? While, at the same time, complain about US weapons going into Mexico? Why?

Well their twisted and sick plan backfired when it became public.

The DOJ, at the highest level, have done its best to stonewall any investigation and cover their bloody tracks. But the trail is clear enough and leads straight to the top. Highly ****ing diabolical and impeachable. If the fox is watching the hen-house who is watching the fox? Epic failure @ the DOJ, FBI and the NSA. Too busy building that super data center maybe.
