points noted.

I just cant believe he thought he had come up with plausible solutions....I think we need to just clarify what doing a good job means....you see I argued against this however thinking about it you are right, he may have thought he was doing a good job....but good job being 'debunk' all events at all costs with any answer. As opposed to a good job by finding the causes/real answers.

How can one think 6 officers were chasing Venus? how can Venus match up even slightly to any descriptions given? how can Venus come so low to the ground? so no I dont think he thought that it was really Venus...I just think that he said anything to sign the case of as solved....doing a 'good' job.

and yes its incredible how by further posting I feel I strengthen my position and you feel the same way about yours....really is fascinating and maybe shows we are both possibly biased with our interpretations..(although I am sure we could both argue against anyone that suggested this lol)

Mate, gotta dash, but I will rack my brain to see if I can offer an example of this mindset for when I get back.

Things are what they are. - Me Reality can't be debunked. That's the beauty of it. - Capeo If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants. - Sir Isaac Newton Let me repeat the lesson learned from the Sturrock scientific review panel: Pack up your old data and forget it. Ufology needs new data, new cases, new rigorous and scientific methodologies if it hopes ever to get out of its pit. - Ed Stewart Youtube is the last refuge of the ignorant and is more often used for disinformation than genuine research.  There is a REASON for PEER REVIEW... - Chrlzs Nothing is inexplicable, just unexplained. - Dr Who
