Still Waters Posted June 3, 2013 #5 Share Posted June 3, 2013 The only mountain I've climbed/hiked is Mount Snowdon in North Wales. At an altitude of 1,085 metres (3,560 ft) above sea level it wasn't exactly up to Mount Everest standard! I remember sitting down having a break when a gust of wind caught my waterproof jacket and it blew away ...but all in all it was very enjoyable. The view was lovely and I was fair chuffed with myself at the time. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snowdon
VNICA Posted June 6, 2013 #6 Share Posted June 6, 2013 Awesome view. Nice to see this way, since I will never see it "live".
Junior Chubb Posted June 6, 2013 #7 Share Posted June 6, 2013 Amazing, and we only get the minutest fraction of it. Oh to be there for real. I think if you look closely you can pick out one of the beacons of Minas Tirith...
Jello Posted June 6, 2013 #8 Share Posted June 6, 2013 Amazing how some people can make it there and live to tell the tale. Even more awsome that they took the time to make the video to share to the world.
