Agreed. Bama, so you personally are responsible for getting a state law revoked? Plus you went to the slammer for it! Awesome.

No, no, no. Sorry if I gave that impression. I was only a very small part of the effort. I did go to the slammer for it though. Can't say I recommend it as a place to stay.

Well you still did more than most people would do and at least you have an admirable reason for going up the river. Was your record eh-sponged afterwards?

Terrific story Bama!  You go boy!! :tu:

Want to hear about Alabama suspending my DL for a ticket I never got?

Got my license back after three years when they finally acknowledged that I had never gotten a traffic ticket in the State of Alabama. My family and friends couldn't believe that I went three years without driving instead of paying a $79.00 fine. I tried to explain that it was about the prinicple of the thing. Why pay for something I know I never got? They think I somewhat looney, but they love me anyway.

For reasons I can't understand, no. The state refuses to ex-spong my record. I could probably hire a good attorney, but why spend money for something I'm not really ashamed of. I told my current employer all about it on my application and he got a kick out of it and hired me anyway.

Like I said in the post above most folks think I'm, let's say "odd".

Yes, vote Libertarian party. You will throw away your vote, take one away from the Republicans, and help the Democrats all at the same time.

The vote is not thrown away!.... What's thrown away is voting for the same two parties who are failing and expecting a different result to eventually occur!
