A whole generation is not being taught cursive writing. In this digital age that doesn't seem like a problem, until you go to sign a passport application, write a cheque or decorate a cake.

same thing is happening in China and Taiwan ... the kids gets the characters wrong most times with a pen to paper ... but hits it with the keyboard or phone texts ...
