Knight Of Shadows Posted July 9, 2013 #1 Share Posted July 9, 2013 Algeria in the early 1992 when the army decided to cancel elections that an Islamic party was poised to win. the military interfered with free elections and stopped them while islamic party was unto the win and it's exactly the same method happened in egypt where military isolated elected president and put him out of the power a president that belonged to islamic party as well so there is sometype of agreement that islamists should not reach power given the knowledge of countries in middle east of islamic majority it's only logical that islamic power would win elections in democratic way but the military keep interfer and dictate things into secular map road and wave of violence happens against muslims and eventally they are suppressed " by them i mean the people " a look at egypt it's exactly the same path as algeria one army leader dictate the course of democratic rule and force it to course in favor of another part and violence already started and recieved a widespread condems it took form of army killing islamic supporters protestors so does this going to lead into wide spread middle east war who's parts are islamic power and secular dictatorship ? and does preventing muslims from ruling their countries justify the existance and supporting of dictatorship ? would love to hear people opinions on the matter , politically , and morally

If the majority of the people in Egypt want to live under Sharia and want an Islamic system then they will have it eventually. But what about the minorities? And I include al Nour (Salafis) in this also. Democracy doesn't work for Islam. Free elections means ONE election, then one group dominates the rest until they are overthrown through bloody struggle of shifting alliances. All I can say is that if I lived there and I and my family were told to live by Sharia or die, well at least I'd take a few with me, you know? Bottom line is that Muslims don't seem to work and play well with others (even other Muslims) for long. I don't mean to offend you or your culture but that is how I see it as an outsider. I don't mean to offend you or your culture but that is how I see it as an outsider. the main agenda is " a civil state " not islamic sharia laws those are to be applied but even that is refused by seculars they want to rule over muslims my military force which i believe muslims here showed great resistance egypt has been under sharia laws " regarding marriage and heritage " since dawn of times it's nothing new .. the islamic parties bring nothing new .. same civil state with marriage and hertiage according to sharia that's how it always been .. no one was forcing full sharia law it's same as algerian events muslims win in free elections and pushed aside by force by minorties and military but i have feeling people are no longer willing to stand for this injustice done against them many years are quiet enough by the way .. salafis are siding with muslims after recent events after all they're muslims as well i think it would be interesting to see what develop in coming month
