Only the edges of the paper to make the illusion look more effective. All the centre is drawn in.

I don't see the point in nit-picking about the way the artist did these drawings, does it really matter!  I think they're very good whichever way they were done. I'm also a big fan of optical illusions.

Thanks for the post xsas :tu:

Those tattoos were gross - no questioning the talent in producing them, that is clearly awesome but the chosen subject matters on skin - my stomach was turning throughout that ordeal.

"I warn you, whoever you are, oh you who wish to probe the arcanes of nature, if you do not find within yourself that which you seek, neither shall you find it outside.
If you ignore the excellencies of your own house, how do you intend to find other excellencies?
In you is hidden the treasure of treasures, Oh man, know thyself and you shall know the Universe and the Gods."

Perception itself could be construed as illusion but perhaps not as hoax.

Cutting out sections seems to be part of the "illusion" but it is still done on flat surfaces. Photoshop and printing is perhaps involved since some of these textures seem rather glossy and realistic.

Still, all in all, uber creative.
