I truly want to thank you all for your advice and opinions once again! XD

I've shared all of your stories with my husband.

Again, I want to thank everyone for their feedback. I've been trying to talk him into seeing a doctor, but he refuses unless he feels like he's dying. However, there is an update to all of this. Now, he's not only seeing the shadow people, but shadow animals as well. I read up on this and most people see smaller animals or insects...he is seeing deer, elk and larger animals. He is also now experiencing flashes of light which he can only describe as the flash that comes off of a camera. Any thoughts?

SSilhouette,

I wanted to thank you especially for your advice. It was well thought out and quite spiritual. I can tell that you love and have faith in God and not some building, as I do. I believe in the power of positive energy as well...but neither me nor my husband fear any of this. It is an inconvenience at most, but when it begins impacting my husband's mentallity, that is when I get ticked. I believe that every being has the right to present itself and dwell as it wishes, but don't mess with me and mine. I'm very protective. LOL

Salutations,

How would you explain my experiences with this? I do not suffer from sleep paralysis, narcolepsy, sleep apnea, or anything like that. I am also not a huge believer of the supernatural. I am not trying to impugn anything you are saying, but I do believe that things happen in this world that just can't be explained by science or rational. Who knows, though? I'm still trying to convince my husband to go to the doctor to have a sleep study done. :)

i suffer from hypnagogia and sleep paralysis and i can tell you from experience your husband is not experiencing paranormal. So far i have seen,  aliens, shadow men, my father, monsters, humans, a clown that was standing over my girlfriend, zombies, ghosts, lizards etc. I also experience where i am not in my room, i have seen myself in an abandon forest next to a temple ruins, dream i was on the work floor. the list goes on. So in short, part of the brain has not woken up and you see things.

The triggers can be many causes, weird sleeping patterns, stress, anxiety, physical exhaustion, eating food before bed, drinking sugary or caffeinated drinks, lack of sleep, certain medication's side effects, paranoia, being upset, trauma, certain body pain, sleeping at an odd position, alcohol and guilt.

I recommend seeing a sleep specialist like i have

It is easier to claim it is paranormal than taking the hard route and find out what really happened.

Why does the OP's text get larger each year?  And why the thread-necro?

My father had the symptons first described in your original post (tired/weak/stuff).  Ended up having a heart attack.  While he wasn't scared, my mother was.  Not once did anyone think it anything other than natural causes, and it was a good thing, too, or my father would be dead at this time.

And I'll echo Brian Topp's suggestions.  His analysis and advice are always good.

Please, though, don't make your text so large anymore.  Reading your post one letter at a time is hard to do with my condition.

Orbs and Chemtrails, Bigfoot and Global Warming,
It's these hoaxes and more
That give me my sour stomach each morning...

Its probably just that hat man guy he seems to bother a lot of people. I wouldn't go to the extremes of exorcism.

Thank you all for your opinions and advice. I will talk it over with my husband and encourage him to have a sleep study done as well as see a physcian about his fatigue and anxiety. :)

P.S. I apologize for making my text large. My eye sight is horrible {I'm legally blind without my contacts/glasses} so I do it so I can read my posts afterward.
