Well, some armchair engineers have already been able to faithfully power electrical appliances using only water. Their method eliminates the middle man.

I wonder if they'll make a 'improve your aim' app as well.

"From time to time there appear on the face of the earth men of rare and consummate excellence, who dazzle us by their virtue, and whose outstanding qualities shed a stupendous light. Like those extraordinary stars of whose origins we are ignorant, and of whose fate, once they have vanished, we know even less, such men have neither forebears nor descendants: they are the whole of their race."  -- Jean de la Bruyere 1645-1696.

There could be a wealth of power lurking in our septic tanks' anaerobic sludge. No more excuses for p***-poor battery life.

1. English people are weird.
2. Will we have to be dehydrated for this to work? Eg. there's not a lot of useful stuff in hydrated urine.
3. There are enough dirty people around who don't wash their hands now. This won't help.

....oh... just had a thought....

One could pee on their phone, the phone takes a sample and analyzes it before emailing the data results to the person's employer for a monthly drug test. Even creepier if the phone reminded you on the day by saying, 'It's time for your drug test.'

Ponderous.
