The first cine film showing someone using a mobile phone was made in 1928:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b8PFV6OJ2WA
Followed by this clip in 1938:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x34_gFM8kuo
In 1948 AT&T introduced Mobile Telecommunications in 150 cities.
Does anyone know what developments occurred in 1918, and in 1958 and beyond?

Let me jog your memories.
In 1918 it appears to be radiotelephony:http://www.awm.gov.au/exhibitions/1918/technology/
In 1958 it was the launch of the score satellite:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SCORE_(satellite)
Do you see the frightening development?

Not again. It's all been on here before. And very well explained as well.
