And why is a legit news outlet showing a video of tsunami levels and trying to pass it off as radiation levels?
So, yes, Fukushima is a big problem, but can we look at real solutions and take a pass on the fear mongering?
Fukushima is a not a serious problem it’s a global disaster.
Because some bloggers get their facts wrong or use incorrect graphics to state their point does not lessen the gravity of this situation. The MSM coverage of this disaster from the start has been to cover up the consequences of this never-ending event. Publications like Snopes and Skeptoid continue the deafening silence on this ongoing disaster by completely minimizing its severity and proclaiming business as usual.
The science on the dangers of either high or low levels of alpha, beta or gamma emitters is relatively incomplete. Scientists know that high levels of certain emitters will kill the average person in a matter of hours but the effects on humans of low levels of radiation have never been completely understood or studied.
TEPCO’s half-assed band-aid solutions to contain this disaster from the start have created a true emergency for humanity and our beloved planet Earth. To be concerned about the excessive amounts of radiation being released and its possible effects on our environment and generations to come is not fear-mongering, it is called being aware and making others aware too.
On the other side of the coin we have the self-deniers who credo is ‘so what’.
