Honey bees are being cross bred with their more aggressive African cousins to produce a hybrid which is hardier and more resistant to parasites.

I dunno. Killer bees, to me, are pretty scary. Does that mean you get "honeybees" that are quick to swarm? Maybe it's just me. Due to a childhood incident, I'm terrified of anything that stings.

Forget what they told you. You want the truth, follow the money.
