A huge, hypnotic wall of fog has been filmed cascading down over the Long Range Mountains in Newfoundland’s Lark Harbour.

Wow. The trees disappearing into the sinkhole was pretty good too.

The object, known by the locals as "Bicho Voador" (Flying Animal), or "Bicho Sugador" (Sucking Animal), has the shape of a rounded ship and attacks people in isolation.

Looks like home to me. I live on the coast in California, the fog rolls in around 4pm, sometimes is wraps itself around everything. Depending on the weather inland, it's sometimes called our beloved fog bank, because it means being cool after a day in the heat. Cali and its microclimates!

Amazing! And that video of the trees getting swallowed by a sinkhole was a tad unsettling... *shivers*

That was pretty sweet.

I as well enjoyed the trees being swallowed alive by the sink hole.

Kinda scary-looking, like an avalanche. Nice shot, though.

Pretty awesome. It's basically a giant rolling cloud on the ground. It's The Mist.

  • You can't just choose to believe something.

Believing in something doesn't make it true.

My sister lives a few miles in from Morro Bay and whenever I visit, I also watch the fog roll in in the late afternoon, slowly filling all of the valleys and then up to and then enveloping her hilltop and house........the next morning it looks like it has rained as the fog is so dense....

But if the winds come from inland........so comes the heat....

Get three coffins ready.

My mistake, four coffins.
