A family saved their three-month old puppy from a fox attack after he was snatched from their garden patio.

Stacey Willis, 21, and her mother Kerry saw the fox snatch their puppy, King Charles Spaniel Max, and carry him away.

They followed the cries of the puppy for 45 minutes before they eventually found him being "savaged" by the fox in a power station near to their home in Sandwell, West Midlands.

Great ending for the puppy!!

I'm not one for violence against -any- animal; however, if it was my puppy, I would fiercely fight to save it. If that meant I was mauled or mangled in the process, then so be it!

"From time to time there appear on the face of the earth men of rare and consummate excellence, who dazzle us by their virtue, and whose outstanding qualities shed a stupendous light. Like those extraordinary stars of whose origins we are ignorant, and of whose fate, once they have vanished, we know even less, such men have neither forebears nor descendants: they are the whole of their race."  -- Jean de la Bruyere 1645-1696.
