Luca’s Expedition 36 highlights

Spacewalks, science, plumbing, robots, exercise and maintenance. All in a day's work for ESA astronaut Luca Parmitano.
Watch the highlights of his first three months on the International Space Station as part of Expedition 36. On 10 September 2013 his Volare mission entered the second phase as Expedition 36 became Expedition 37.
As they are only halfway through their mission, Luca and fellow astronauts Karen Nyberg and Fyodor Yurchikhin have a lot more work facing them before their return to Earth on 10 November.

"Space is big. Really big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind-boggingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the street to the chemist, but that's just peanuts to space." - The Hitch-Hikers Guide to the Galaxy - Douglas Adams 1952 - 2001
