Dogs are truly mankind's best friend, and sometimes much more of a friend to us, than we are to each other.

Also, this is the kind of article to read when one's own dog chews up a floorboard, so my mother said, 'You tell that forum person thank you very much for sharing that nice article.' ;)

(I had emailed her the story - haha) She has a field golden retriever lab.

This is really old, but still sweet.

I always kinda wish my autistic son liked animals. He won't even look at them and gets very exasperated with me when I try to point out one.
