Where was it found in the shower house?
Answering these questions may help.
As it would bring the time frame right down.
The tube has an Art Deco/ 1920's look to it but i think it's later than that…As the typography of the lettering would say 1940's or later, I think.
It's aged, sure, by being left in the cold and damp of the shower house but i don't think that would alter the shade of the lip colour as such, just the tube.
The tone of the lip colour is very 1960's but as you probably are aware, all fashions go in loops and harks back to bygone time and colours.
The mechanism of the tube its self seems to me, no earlier than 1930's….As I am not familiar with that type of mechanism, it can not be any later than the early 60's.
So, from the limited information i'd go with either…… The 1940's to early 60's.
I don't think it is any later than this….But as i said,
If we knew when the shower house was built and where in the shower house the lipstick was retrieved. This would probably give us a much clearer time frame.
i can't pin it down any more than that, without more details.
Yeah, give me a minute. Sorry for slow replies. I'm trying to find a construction date for this park where the shower house is located. It's dates before 1956, I know that much.
But, it was shut down in the 80's.
