The meteor event in Russia on Friday is a sobering reminder that space is a busy place, and that space rocks can take us by surprise.

It's not just Asteroids but Comets which lurk further out unseen.They usually only become visible when they move in closer to the Sun.

Does not the thought of an object the Size of Mount Everest hitting the Earth send a chill down your spine ?
