The sad thing is, even without that particular demise hanging over our heads we forgot about the coming of the next big epidemic. Trust me it won't be long and with everyone being so anal about germs and bacteria thus disinfecting everything, very few people will have the immune system to stand up to it and a large portion of the world will die. Don't be too dismayed though it has to happen because the world is becoming too over populated (I apologize for sounding so aloof and emotionless about the issue but I'm wise enough to know that things need to occur in natural order) I only feel bad about the suffering that has to happen as well... sorry for getting a little off topic xP but besides that it is going to happen eventually so just hope you arn't back on Earth when it does happen (reincarnated)

I saw a model where Global Warming eventually causes an Ice Age.

The model goes like this... Increased global temperatures evaporate more water into the air. Thus creating more clouds. Ice slowly creeps south as the oceans continue to stay warm, sending out more and more moisture. Eventually you end up with an Ice Age situation where the land masses are covered with deep ice and the oceans are still warm. The land near the oceans also stays open, due to the ocean warmth.

The same situation can be simulated by putting a lot of dust particles into the air. The dust will hold in the warmth over the oceans, and also hold in the cold over frozen areas. All it would take is a particulary cold winter with enough snow so that it does not melt over the summer. With enough clouds or enough particles in the air this can actually happen.

Loge, they died because they were poor and lived in crappy housing in low-lying areas. If that same cyclone would have hit Miami, only a few people would die - and they would be some of the people stupid enough go down to the beach to feel the wind

BTW, why do you present your lopside ramblings as if they are facts? I mean, you do include plenty of facts that most reasonably well educated people already know (by reasonably educated I mean like 5th or 6th grade at least). Facts like "the ring of fire exists" or "earth quakes happen" or "big storms occur". But then you try to paint them in some mystical light and claim that they portend the end of humanity.

All that is fine - just like it would be fine if I said "Millions of feathered beasts howl through the night - this is true! Yet some people fail to acknowledge it! Why does the goverment hide this from us? Science has already proven it is true! And the timing of these invisible night-flyers is eerie - in the spring they fly north, in the autumn they fly south. Why do they do this?".

Do you see how dramtic I can make simple avian migration look? And there will probably be someone along to follow it up and say something like "Gee, I had no idea! That is freaky!".

Everything has a begining and an end in the case of our world the destruction of Babylon system which runs the world today would mean no one would have to use money or suffer without it .
There are many things efeecting life on Earth the 4 horsemen of Apocalypse are already running wild causing desease famine and death and the seal on the scrolls of life have been opened meaning more disasters await.
