I was channel surfing this Thanksgiving and I just happen to hit what looked like a program about the Pilgrims.  So I thought Iíd watch a little bit more.  I then realized that it was a Best of Stossel on Fox News from 2010.  It was an excellent program.  I searched youtube to see if the program was there.  I hadnít missed too much of it but watched it again.  This program has all the answers to our economic problems today.  This should be required viewing for all Socialists.  While on youtube, I saw another Stossel program about Milton Friedman and his series/book ďFree to ChooseĒ.  This is another gem.  I encourage all to watch these.  And since we are here, I highly encourage viewing ďFree to ChooseĒ which came out in 1980 on PBS.  The same year that Cosmos came out.  1980 was truly an awesome and eye opening year.  Both series were landmark achievements.  I have both series and itís been a long time since I watched them.  They are two of my favorites and I think it is time to watch them both again.

Stossel - 'The Tragedy Of The Commons' 12/5/10 1 of 4

Stossel - "Free to Choose" (Milton Friedman) 1/6

ďA society that puts equality before freedom will get neither. A society that puts freedom before equality will get a high degree of both.Ē

This is great! Really makes you think doesn't it?

Since you have Milton Friedman on here, thought I'd post this..... Enjoy!

Yes it does.  I like these gems you find on the web.  You struggle to find the right word or concept to say something and when youíre not expecting it, it shows itself.

I have seen this before.  Itís great.  Although, they walk away with a draw, that might indicate the real solution?  Which Iíve always thought would be heavily Adam Smith with a small touch of Socialism.

We donít need a mechanic,
   the solution is organic!

BTW, you may want to check that link.  The filename is correct but it at least doesnít seem to be working for me.
