Oh dear, them expert experts!
Angels can and do appear in whatsoever shape and form they wish, or as is needed according to the understanding of the persons they appear to. With wings or without wings.

I present an angel. Here.

They came with a Bible and their religion. stole our land, crushed our spirit, and now they tell us we should be thankful to the Lord for being saved.

Debating whether or not angels had wings seems to be like LOTR fans debating whether Balrogs had wings.  Completely missing the point no matter which way you look at it.

That passage states that the beings described "looked like four living creatures." Scripture seems to describe several types of created intelligences, whether these were angels or not is difficult to say, unless one uses that for all created beings in the spiritual realm.

When the two angels and the Lord visited Abraham (Genesis 18) they seem to have appeared as ordinary humans, however, something must have been unusual or noteworthy about them because Abraham made quite a fuss over them. Still hospitality in the ancient world was perhaps more civilized than it is today in "modern" society. Also when the two angel then went into the city of Sodom (Genesis 19) they appeared to the inhabitants to be human visitors. So at least in this case, wings seem unlikely.

Grazie padre, molto grazie. That particular question has been vexing me for many years. I eagerly await your expert assessment of how many angels can dance on the head of a pin.

Those I have encountered as fully manifested beings (other than  say just voices or voices and invisible forces)  were either 'beings of light", or appeared as ordinary people but with extraordinary abilities.  I've never encountered an angel with wings. Because angels can move instantaneously I suppose early people saw them as flighted beings. Actually they  move more like a matter transmission or transmit mode. ie They appear and disappear instantaneously and can cover huge distances basically instantaneously.

When was your last psych eval? Angels are fantasy, myth, and hocus pocus. Those you have encountered? Give me a break, this is reality.

When did you last observe the section this thread was posted in? If you want to debate wether they're real or not, then take it to the appropriate skeptical division of the forums.

As far as angels having wings, I believe that they do and that they all have four wings as well.  I have never seen them, but I did hear what I believe to be some kind of Angelic choir singing in the Hospital in a relative's death bed earlier this year and I only wish I could've seen them too.

So, if one is to believe in Angels, then one would also believe they are creatures of Spirit with wonderous powers to move around and appear as other things. They could easily appear as a human or as a human with wings. To them it is not any harder to appear one way or the other.

And like 3.0 pointed out Ezichiel said they had wings... all of them.

Quite right. I can watch it; time, after time, after time.

You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be, and whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.

With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world..

Be cheerful.

Strive to be happy.
