Two Georgian cannon have been uncovered on a beach in Porthcawl following the recent storms.

The cannon are approximately 5ft (1.5m) and 3ft (0.9m) in length.

You think that's good?  Along with thousands of other children I played on top a cannon in our local adventure playground, totally unaware it was a real cannon until it was spotted by Navy men and stolen away to a museum in Plymouth!  (or Portsmouth, I always get those two mixed up)
