This can't be legal.  Ebay has been using this for a while, and so have other sites.  Now from what I understand this can only work with a webcam. So how has ebay been using this without people's consent? I doubt anyone would consent to this at least.   This should be illegal IMO! :td:

Now off course since like most people I have become wary of unused webcams, so mine is always covered with a bandaid.  But only since a few months, so before that I was perhaps being watched without me knowing.  What do you guys think ?

I think it's scary. Machines and computers being able to figure us out, and know how we're feeling? That's just downright creepy.
But I taped a piece of cardboard over my webcam, so there's no chance of them filming me :P
