Expedition 39 Crew News Conference Introduction

Members of the Expedition 39/40 Crew are introduced at the Expedition 39 Crew News Conference on January 22, 2014 from Johnson Space Center. NASA astronaut Steve Swanson, Soyuz commander Alexander Skvortsov and cosmonaut Oleg Artemyev will launch from Baikonur Cosmodrome, Kazakhstan in late March to the International Space Station.

Next ISS Crew Meets the Media

The next International Space Station crew met the media during a news conference televised January 22 on NASA TV. Expedition 39/40 -- NASA astronaut Steve Swanson and Russian and cosmonauts Alexander Skvortsov and Oleg Artemyev are scheduled for launch March 25 from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. The crew will be the first to share their final weeks of mission preparations and their flight experiences on Instagram.
