Station astronauts talk long distance with Texas students

Aboard the International Space Station, Expedition 38 Flight Engineers Michael Hopkins and Rick Mastracchio of NASA discussed their mission and research aboard the orbital laboratory with students at the Alamo Heights High School in San Antonio, Texas during an in-flight educational event on Jan. 23. Participating in the discussion was Rep. Lamar Smith (R-Texas), who is the chairman of the House Science, Space and Technology Committee, and whose district includes portions of San Antonio, Austin and the Texas hill country.
