A GROUP of ghost hunters believe they found up to nine spirits inhabiting the Stag theatre during a paranormal pursuit last weekend.
The six-strong Kent Ghostseekers investigated the historic Sevenoaks theatre on Saturday night using a range of instruments including a child’s toy and Ouija boardsboth wooden and human.

It is easier to claim it is paranormal than taking the hard route to find out what really happened.

Are "ghost hunters" still pushing orbs as some kind of proof?

My question exactly.  I think they mostly do it when they don't get anything else on film.  No 'ghostly image' or god forbid an evp.

Sounds like they wasted 8 hours of time where they could be doing something useful or more fun.

No actually. Most serious paranormal investigators, using rational thinking, consider ''orbs'' to be dusts, water particules, bugs or light reflections and not the energies of spirits or some entities.

But then certain groups have certain methodologies and approaches with regard to paranormal phenomenon. As far as I know, Ouija boards and tipping tables for exemple are no longer used to gather objective evidence of paranormal activity. It speaks to me that the Kent GhostSeekers investigate more on a spiritual basis than a scientific one.

So disappointing, title seemed so promising. No proof, no ghosts, but hey! They got themselves in the local news and got a bit of advertising.

Child toys and snooker balls? Very advanced!

i hope no one got billed for the time these people wasted running around in the dark.
Capturing images of dust particles is worth what? 30 cents an hour at best?
i'd demand a refund damn it!

Orbs and Ouija boards don't equal paranormal to me.
