The Pallas cat, or manul, which inhabits grassland in the foothills of the Himalayas and steppes of Central Asia, was thought to live their lives almost completely silently.

Fascinating. Their grunts are almost ape-like.
So they're silent around humans, but talk to each other after humans leave?
They're probably saying, "I thought they'd NEVER leave! Where was I? Oh yes ... so Megan has a new coat coming in ... and Harold's whiskers are getting soooooo long now. He's coming along finely ..."

My god! How that ghost makes me dread
My attempts to sleep at night, in my bed
All that moaning and groaning
Keep me awake until morning
Oh wait --- it's that couple next door, newly wed!
