It's almost time again for another major forum milestone - 5 million posts.

The countdown has started - we should reach the target a little bit later on today.

I'd also like to take this opportunity to tip my hat in appreciation to all of our members for their continued participation and support and also to our forum moderators for their tireless efforts in keeping the forums running smoothly over the last 13 years.

Thank you. :)

Update: The 5,000,000 milestone has now been reached!

Where's the flashing banner that tells me I've won?  I've been the lucky one so many other times - I'm bound to get this one too!!

All my posts about Apollo are dedicated to the memory of MID - who knew, lived and was an integral part of, Apollo.

"Like the JFK assassination conspiracy theories, the UFO issue probably will not go away soon, no matter what the CIA does or says. The belief that we are not alone in the universe is too emotionally appealing and the distrust of our government is too pervasive to make the issue amenable to traditional scientific studies or rational explanation and evidence." - Gerald K Haines

I've flown from one side of this galaxy to the other. I've seen a lot of strange stuff, but I've never seen anything to show me where the hell Helen of Annoy has been for the past couple of months.

I second that DOT.  Thank you Saru for your dedication to this site, it's an amazing community.  5 million is awesome, thanks to the wonderful membership I have learned a heck of alot since I joined which was well over 1 million posts ago.

I have also learned a lot while being here, but also I have learned to dismiss 'a lot' too...

Bigfoot is occupied with his press tour at the moment, so perhaps you can get a complimentary alien abduction.
