Being able to walk on the ceiling might sound reserved for a super-hero, but one sci-fi fanatic has created his own magnetic shoes.

if you do decide to walk up onto the ceiling make sure the shoe's laces are tied up reallly tight

This is one of my biggest reasons for fantasy. Yes, it's mostly nonsense, but it inspires people.
Look at Star Trek, for example.
