They say city-dwellers are never more than six feet away from a rat.

But a special night at The London Dungeon can see you dining with one.

The gory venue will play host to a special Rat Cafe night on Tuesday June 24 where you can indulge in rattucinos, black forest rateau and carrat cake.

Visit the Houses of Parliament and you're never more than a spit away from a rat.  Some of them can even talk and write their names.  Specially when claiming expenses.

A spokesperson said: ‘Now I know what you’re thinking, “isn’t eating around rats a bit unhygienic?” No is the answer! Our rats are tame and extremely well groomed.’

Boring! The London Dungeon are well behind the real thing when it comes to horror:

Is there rat in your kebab? Investigators discover lamb takeaways... with no lamb and several contained UNIDENTIFIED meat
