Not sure about books on military ghost but I know Fort Leavenworth is the most haunted base. If you search around on google you will surely find a book on it.

On other ghost books I have provided a link.

Hope it helps a bit. I have been looking for an old ghost book myself called the ghost along lake cumberland which is about kentucky. I haven't gotten my hands on it as of yet cause its out of print.

Look out for Ghost Stations.

Name of the author escapes me at the moment, but be warned, his views change through the 8 books from `is it´ to `it is ´.
His theories on Bader are interesting.

Where in UK are you? I could send them if you have no luck.

If what I type offends you, don't see it as an attack, but as my opinion.

I don't neccessarily know anything about a book on hauntings in the military, but I can give you this link:

http://forum.keypubl...artime-Airbases

It's a thread about haunted airfield bases in the UK. It's actually very interesting - a lot of first hand experiences here.

And maybe this will be helpful:

Even though one could probably search for haunted military bases on the net, I am surprised that there are not many books on haunted military installations. And I lived on one for nine years, and near others for some other years. There was a thread on Walson Hospital on Fort Dix in New Jersey in this forum some time back, that I participated on. Frankly, there are quite a few experiences that I and my neighbors and friends had, that even do not show up on net searches. I just wonder if there is a reason for that.
