NASA Space Station Crewmember Discusses Life In Space And Social Media Mania

Aboard the International Space Station, Expedition 40 Flight Engineer Reid Wiseman of NASA, a native of Cockeysville, Maryland, discussed his interest in and contributions to social media in telling the story of his life and work in space as well as the progress of his research activities on the orbital laboratory in a pair of in-flight interviews July 1 with the NBC "Today Show" and WJZ-TV, Baltimore. Wiseman, who arrived on the station in late May, will remain in orbit until mid-November, when he will return to Earth in a Russian Soyuz spacecraft.

"Space is big. Really big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind-boggingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the street to the chemist, but that's just peanuts to space." - The Hitch-Hikers Guide to the Galaxy - Douglas Adams 1952 - 2001
