A woman in Richland is em"bark"ing on a new mission. This month she's eating with her pets, and chowing down on nothing but pet food.

"Of course now when I share with the dogs, it's not like i'm giving them table scraps," Dorothy Hunter says. That's one way she can look at her menu for the next month. She owns Paws Natural Pet Emporium, where her endeavor started while stocking shelves.

Why is this even news?

Would I be worthy of attention if I started eating my cats pet food?

Edited to fix typo.

It's no secret that we tend to feed our pets better than ourselves.  I honestly can't even figure out why this would be worth reporting beyond the novelty aspect.

Some people are forced to resort to eating pet food because they cannot afford anything else so this little notoriety seeking stunt proves nothing.

First thought that popped in my head was the Leslie Chow dog food scene from Hangover 3. LOL
