Tourists are flocking to a church after reports that the ghost of a long-dead saint has been spotted.
There have been reports that the spirit of Saint Oliver Plunkett has been seen in St Peter’s parish church in the centre of Drogheda, Co Louth.
A video which claims to show the head of the martyred saint hovering in mid-air has become a sensation on YouTube.

It is easier to claim it is paranormal than taking the hard route and find out what really happened.

Hehe.  I've been to that actual church many times in my life to see with my own eyes St. Oliver Plunkett's preserved head (though I've not been there in recent years).  I was going to post the story when I read it recently online, but Brian beat me to it.

The saint in question, Oliver Plunkett, has a shrine in the church.  It contains his freaky shrunken preserved head in a glass case.  It's utterly bizarre and grotesque and weird.

Wouldn't appearing as a ghost be somewhat flying in the face of the Church position on all things paranormal..."A Saint should know better!" to quote Treebeard.
