OK, I want to start this off that before this I never believed in ghosts or even god. I am an atheist that believes science can answer everything.
Right now I can't find an answer and it's freaking me out.

So, me and my 2 other friends were hanging outside the mall. I was throwing up my hackysack and got it stuck up on a ledge. I tried jumping off a bench and still didn't come place. So later, a mall cop comes around the corner and yells at us, kicking us off the property. However me and my friends just walked away and walked into the side doors. We then bought a 3 foot bottle to try to get it down. I went back outside and I still couldn't get it down with the giant water bottle. We saw the mall cop coming around the corner so we all run back inside. We sat inside and talked for a while and I get up and my friends notice the hackysack fall off my lap onto the chair. I didn't even notice until my friend picked it up and I was like "HOW THE #*$% DID YOU GET IT!?!?!?!??!". We went outside and it was gone from the ledge. The mall was very near closing time and we were pretty much the only people left in the mall. No one had even passed us to give the hackysack to us. Can anyone find explain this to me? I would be willing to take any explanation, paranormal or not. I might lose my last grain of sanity if I don't find some sort of explanation. I am seriously freaked out.

Thanks for any replies.

Don't be worried. Not all spirits are evil and this could've been one lending you help.
Why didn't you tell the cop that you were having trouble getting your things?

I'm thinking it's possible you could have dislodged your hacky sack in your attempts to knock it down, and eventually it just fell off the ledge. Welcome to UM btw :)

I must admit, I had to Google to find out what a hacky sack is! I'm also perplexed about the 3 foot bottle but it doesn't matter. It's good it all turned out well for you in the end.

Does it show my age, when I knew what a hacky sack is? And I have no problem with the three foot bottle. Well, carrying on, this reminds me of an experience, where I noticed I lost an earing at work. I guessed it fell out, and despite the store I worked in at the time was a small store, I couldn't find it while I searched all over for it. Well, then later that night, at my home, I find it, there on my couch. I'm thinking, 'how the hell?!', and while that perplexed me to no end, I figured maybe it fell unto my clothing and rode it till I got home and then it fell off. Despite the fact, I checked my clothing all over, while I was still at worked. To me, that was weird. I have always felt that that place I worked at, and the home I lived in at the time, were both haunted, kinda sorta. Yet, I still try to think, there is some incredible reason for this.
So, in that retrospect, more than likely, you unknowingly dislodged somehow and it fell on your person and you carried it with you. I also like one poster's answer that a nice spirit helped you out too. I always like to see both sides of the coin. :w00t: :tu:

The scary part about it is, that it didn't come down. Me and my friend both were 100% sure it was still up there. Like I said, I was no where close to getting it down.

Our current theory is that my friends older brother who passed got it down for us. He was tall as hell.

P.S. if you want to imagine what the 3 foot water bottle looks like, just imagine a 3 foot tall bong. That's about right.

P.P.S this hacky sack is almost 4 pounds. I would've known if it fell on me :P.

A four pound hacky sack?
What'd you do, replace the plastic beads with ball bearings?

It's a sand hacky sack. And yes they make some with metal beads too.
