NASA has spent a lot of time explaining why curiosity's wheels are wearing so badly.

I am sure NASA has spent millions on making these wheels only to watch them come apart with the explanation of sharp rocks.

I think curiosity is making trips to strange Mars items, and the public is not being told.

I believe there is more miles on curiosity then the public knows.

I believe the landscape is full of items from a destroyed civilization.

This is just my opinion, no proof, but lots of strange curiosity photos have been posted.

And people like you can't see the truth because you can't see past your fringe.

Mars is another planet, there is a million and one factors affecting the rover that no one here could have imagined courtesy of the unique conditions on Mars. Unusual for Earth tire wear? Well that could more easily be explained by the geology of the terrain rather then "secret missions".

I must not fear. Fear is the Mind-Killer. It is the little death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and to move through me. And when it is gone I will turn the inner eye to see it's path.
When the fear is gone, there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.

If the mission of Curiosity is so secret, why are NASA posting the photos on the internet for all to see ?

a different planet with a different landscape than what were used to, wear and tear is expected, even more so with things like this

and i think it's not and the public isn't being told because there is nothing to tell

What about the hundreds of millions of non-strange photos... that match observed features as seen through telescopes (no third party interfering and no possible photoshopping?)

  • The age of stupid is upon us. Scientific conclusions are drawn from missing data, resuming to suppositions and guessing.

I remember a few mysteries spotted in the mars pictures taken by the rover while Nasa experts have resumed  to making suppositions instead of moving the rover a few meters away to take closer screenshots.  They want to send a new rover in a new expedition; while i applaud this initiative i must say, please make some changes in the staffing and approach, make it more curious and  Add some enthusiasm!

I agree with this statement, especially with moon conspiracies. Every moon conspiracionist should just buy a professional telescope and check it for themselves. In fact he she they should ask for donations. I bet tons of real scientist would spare a few bucks just to help themselves realizing they were wrong.... Or not... :)

So Kpak, you are not coming back to give a specific example of the 'deceit' you claim?

Just post your favorite example, and let's take a look, shall we?

All my posts about Apollo are dedicated to the memory of MID - who knew, lived and was an integral part of, Apollo.

"Like the JFK assassination conspiracy theories, the UFO issue probably will not go away soon, no matter what the CIA does or says. The belief that we are not alone in the universe is too emotionally appealing and the distrust of our government is too pervasive to make the issue amenable to traditional scientific studies or rational explanation and evidence." - Gerald K Haines

If all the images are faked, the image faking department of NASA must be truly huge and employ some of the most talented Photoshop specialist available.
On the other hand I guess they have had a lot of practice from when they faked all the Apollo images.

I applied to work in the Image Faking Department (IFD), they had us fill out applications on the sound stage.
