The world's fastest camera, capable of taking 4.4 trillion photographs every second, has been unveiled by Japanese scientists.
Tests with the device have shown it to be capable of recording the conduction of heat, which in the experiment was traveling at around one sixth the speed of light. It is around 1,000 times faster than the quickest existing mechanical camera.
