So Hibagons wear shoes, huh?

It is a Japanese noun, so you don't need to inflect it for number. But you can, since we are using it in English.

The only thing that would make this video better is if the Hibagon was playing guitar and drinking a beer.

Let me provide a more reliable translation... :innocent:

First the logo on the top left corner, it means:
First public exhibition in our country!
Shoking UMA Video

Then, there are a few sentences they repeated twice:
[Kono eizou mite hoshii]
[Kore wo miru kagiri, hibagon wa kawarazu sonzai suru]
[Hibagon wa ima mo shibai wa doko ka de, urusai wareware ningen sakeru youni shizuka ni iki tsuzukete iru no darou]
And a 4th sentence which I can't make much out of because there's too many chinese rooted words in a row. My Japanese only goes this far. -_-

Translation of the three first sentences:
We want [you] to see this video.
With this seen far and wide, the existence of Hibagon will be made certain.
Even now, hibagon is somewhere, as if he avoid us noisy humans, maybe to countinue to live peacefully.

Then a screen with red writing:
Is this the hibagon?

The language is informal, with omissions to fasten the speech and neutral form for the verbs instead of polite form. Even if the voice over sound professional, and the guy have a very professional accent, the phrasing sound amateur... It's like an obviously false amateur movie. Maybe a satire in a comedy show?

Edit: I see the japanese characters don't work on this forum, I removed them.

Is it REALLY that hard to hold a camera still while filming ? If so, how do home movies ever turn out viewable ?

Very few mysteries appeal to OP? And discussion is straight outta the question.

Guessing at size, probably about 6 feet, give or take a few inches. And either it has white feet or it is indeed wearing shoes. My money's on fake.

My two cents, and I expect change back: this is undoubtedly fake.
