Fans of the popular Gundam franchise are to build a fully working scale replica within five years.


Sometimes referred to as the 'Star Wars' of Japan, the Gundam series is so popular there that a massive statue built back in 2009 has since attracted millions of visitors from all across the country.

And we all thought that Godzilla was a permanently fictional cinematic creation.

I could just see a Robozilla with a computer virus running around creating all sorts of hate and discontent.

I liked Gundam Wing.

I did like Macross even more though.

This is what I love about Japan; they cater to what people like. You would never find this sort of thing in America, at least nowhere near as frequently.
