Thankfully not or I'd have been a small snack. It's the model was a 26 foot replica of a croc shot in Australia.

FYI: The world's record Gator was captured/killed in Louisiana, (I believe it was in1899) and was measured, (w/ rifle) @ 19'. Probably the length was exaggerated.

The world record Croc was captured alive, and brought to an animal compound in Phillipines by a large group of locals who tied it up and dragged it thru the swamp several miles. (See Disc. Channel program). This croc measured 20.3' and died after one yr in captivity. (Wiki knows all.) They named it 'Lolong', my suggestion was 'Solong.'

Back in T Rex days, one species of Croc reached lengths of 40' or more!

I really didn't know they could get that heavy. A half ton is quite hefty.

Gang, you don't catch a release a 1,000 pound, 15 foot gator.

It was taken during the state's official gator season.  And taken by a woman no less.
