as you can see I didn't finish the ends and the feather quills are poking out, but I will post a second pic when it's complete. But anyway, just happy because it's the first one I ever made. I liked making it so I will make more for Christmas presents. I like giving out gifts that I made. :) :)

You can laugh :) ... I just like to honor the process and love the intent to create cool things to give to people you care about...

I highly respect that...

Very pretty.

It looks so complex. How did you make that?

somebody showed me how, but you can look it up on youtube, it really isn't hard at all. It will be easier to watch a video than have me explain it with text. Visual guide is better. :D

So I decided to give this one to my daughter. I replaced the feathers with ones more significant to her. The skinny light yellow ones are from my cockateil's tail, the white ones are from a duck that lives at my grandma's house that I got this summer and the grey ones are from doves of peace.

I'm mailing it tomorrow. I hope she likes it. :-)

Y'all, I should've mentioned the fact that the first line of post #12

is a variation of a saying by the originators of dreamcatchers,

the Ojibwe.

Thanks.
