if there was a meteor,
adrift amongst space,
set about on a collision course
not with Earth, but my face...
i wonder if id even know,
at what time i might,
be passed off like an old style
and by the meteor be smite?

If I am not mistaken, I heard that they are attempting to terra it. Try and melt the water and create an atmosphere. Not positive though.

I remember reading that in a Spanish Science Journal called "MUY INTERESANTE" around 1992, and it had all the detailed steps on how they were going to terraform the Red Planet. Very interesting read.
