Still Waters Posted June 25, 2015 #1 Share Posted June 25, 2015 Marine biologists from British Antarctic Survey and the University of Southampton, UK, have described the first species of yeti crab known from the Southern Ocean, Antarctica. The new species, scientifically named Kiwa tyleri, belongs to Kiwaidae - an enigmatic group of squat lobsters that live in the hot waters surrounding the geothermally heated hydrothermal vents. http://www.sci-news....cies-02950.html
Zalmoxis Posted June 25, 2015 #2 Share Posted June 25, 2015 I don't know, they don't look very tasty like red crab or standard table crab. Also very limited in number. Thanks for the article.
