UM-Bot Posted July 16, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 16, 2015 A highly dubious video showing an impressively detailed object over the US has appeared online. The footage, which was uploaded on to YouTube just over two weeks ago, shows in extreme clarity an apparent saucer-shaped craft moving around in the sky near the US border with Mexico. fred_mc Posted July 16, 2015 #3 Share Posted July 16, 2015 I think I've seen some mechanism in an ashtray looking like this. At least, it doesn't look alien.
AEK777 Posted July 16, 2015 #4 Share Posted July 16, 2015 I think its rich that you UFO believers will swear blindly that some obscure light is shining in the sky, which HAS to be a UFO because of "muh reasons" but a highly detailed video arrives and everyones like "OBVIOUSLY FAKE" - You do realise REAL Aliens or videos or REAL Aliens or UFO's will look 100% FAKE right? Because they will most likely look like nothing you've ever seen before. I know this video is from Third Phase Of The Moon, and most likely IS fake just because its from that website. But Saying "it looks like an ashtray" is obvious, its a bloody flying saucer mate, ofcourse it looks like an ashtray - by definition an ashtray is very saucer shaped. Now I'm not trying to cause Drama Fred, I was just using you as an example. I digress; My original point is this: I find it ironic that non-believers will rationalise a UFO video when believers will argue that its real. But if a highly detailed video emerges the believers distance themselves because of how good the footage is. "It must be fake because it has too much detail, if it was a fuzzy blurry mess I could argue it wasn't a pigeon" /rant

.ZZ. Posted July 16, 2015 #6 Share Posted July 16, 2015 It most definitely looks like its constructed from clutch componentry from a large vehicle, maybe a van or a truck, I agree it looks like a fan clutch for a 2011 PeterBuilt diesel.

Not sure I get your rant, but please before you label us as 'you believers' you might want to look back at the 'UFO sightings' threads on this site. The majority of posters are very sceptical and look at footage and images with a view to find an explanation. acute Posted July 16, 2015 #9 Share Posted July 16, 2015 I'm not saying this is genuine footage, but you just can't win with UFO videos. If it's shaky or blurred people ask why, If it's clear, then it's 'too good to be true'. Plus, any video can be faked now.
+ouija ouija Posted July 16, 2015 #10 Share Posted July 16, 2015 It's a shame the video doesn't continue on until the UFO either lands or disappears from sight. I wonder if it's possible to gauge the size of it? Probably not as there's nothing else in the video with it, to compare it with. Now that drones are accessible to the world and his wife, I suppose it's easy to disguise them as anything you like ....... or are they quite limited in the weight they can carry?

Calibeliever Posted July 16, 2015 #18 Share Posted July 16, 2015 whatever it is, it looks very terrestrial to me. Maybe someone purchased a surplus experimental craft from the 70's and is taking it out for a spin. IamsSon Posted July 16, 2015 #22 Share Posted July 16, 2015 So, if it had been blurry, out of focus and caught just on the edge of the recording screen that would have made it more likely to be authentic?

I have two words for you: CGI or Drones. In addition, to support the extraterrestrial hypothesis first you'll have to prove to us that this flying object is the work of alien engineering. And secondly, you have to discover how it is that the aliens can travel through vast distances of space. quillius Posted July 16, 2015 #25 Share Posted July 16, 2015 So, if anyone has recorded an incredibly sharp video, then it is an alien spacecraft? I have two words for you: CGI or Drones. In addition, to support the extraterrestrial hypothesis first you'll have to prove to us that this flying object is the work of alien engineering. And secondly, you have to discover how it is that the aliens can travel through vast distances of space. if you could prove the first part why would you need to discover the second part of how?
