Still Waters Posted September 5, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 5, 2015 (edited) A few days ago authorities of the state of Puebla announced the discovery of underground tunnels between 300 and 500 years old. According to an article published by Mexican daily El Universal, these tunnels were found to be military structures that were used during the Battle of May 5, when Mexican troops faced the French army. The tunnels are 7 meters high by 3 meters wide, and the network is at least 10 kilometers long. http://www.mexiconew...puebla-tunnels/ There's a video in this link - http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/centralamericaandthecaribbean/mexico/11846596/Ancient-tunnels-discovered-underneath-Mexican-city-of-Puebla.html Edited September 5, 2015 by Still Waters Forgot the video link

bubblykiss Posted September 8, 2015 #4 Share Posted September 8, 2015 They think they can turn sewers into a tourist trap? I am interesting in seeing the demographic that they target. But still, cool that those tunnels were real.

My thoughts exactly.Maybe we can get The USA Network to have a new season of "Dig" there - considering how big of a hit the one in Israel went. Cough! Cough! True, in fact the Parisians did it with their Catacombs after they had to move millions of bodies from graveyards to excavate for new buildings and urban renewal. http://www.catacombes.paris.fr/en/homepage-catacombs-official-website

I believe it might be these very same ones in Puebla.I do know they went to a mexican city to check out some tunnels. I'm sure you can search for it on Youtube.
