Roy Perry Posted January 31, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 31, 2016 God belief and God unbelief What or who do you worship? 01\31\2016 Some people worship money as their God they see money outweigh everything other it becomes their God they put a side matter to earn money. They love their family but comes first in their life money becomes their God it more important than any other thing to them. When you witness this you hope they will learn someday which is about all you can do. We got other people that worship power they demand that they run everything and will step over anybody to get ahead in life. Even their own family and love ones their greedy that it blinds them all things should be important. When you witness this you hope they will learn someday which is about all you can do. There is the person who worship sex they will do anything to close their God Sex even rape a person because their God is sex. Their will have sex with anybody any family members they just seem to need it to get satisfaction for their need. When you witness this you hope they will learn someday which is about all you can do. When a person claims they have no God other when a person does not believe in God it might just be belief and will never harm you. But if a person pushes their unbelief until it has become their God you better watch out because they went over the deep end. You see the person who has balance their unbelief is safe but the person has made their unbelief their God you better watch out in Life. When a person claims to believe in God it is just a belief in God and that person understand your unbelief and does push their belief on you that person will not harm you. But a person if pushes their belief on you they are religion cult that worship a man not the ideal of God and they will harm you mentally or physical. You see the person who has balance their belief is safe but the person has made their belief their cause you better watch out in Life. These are just some the ways people can made anything their God man over woman can be a God otherwise the list is endless. If we are going to believe in something we never let it run our life or if we are unbelieved in something we should never made it a God. We should love a God like a father and if we have unbelief it should be more than unbelief. Love Roy
BrooklynGuy Posted January 31, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 31, 2016 I utilize prayer and meditation to communicate with the God of my understanding and respect others rights to believe as they will or not believe in anything. I have learned some hard lessons in my life and this works for me, sometimes making the wrong choices is the only way to get to the right place.
Jack Skellington Posted January 31, 2016 #3 Share Posted January 31, 2016 Hi Roy-- all good points. People "worship" whatever they spend their time and attention "in pursuit of." "Where your treasure is, there your heart shall be." Power, politics, sex, money, work, entertainment, amusement, even religion... your passion reveals more than your interest-- it's what you "sacrifice" other things you could be doing, or time you could be spending in other ways. Time is the one true commodity of life.... it is the great equalizer between all mankind-- and we are all on the clock, so how do we "spend" our time. What is it that we "sacrifice" our lifeblood on? Fantasy Football? A BMW? Nice homes, clothes, vacations? The gym? "Where your TIME is, there your heart shall be."
Goodnite Posted January 31, 2016 #4 Share Posted January 31, 2016 I worship the creator of all. I call him God. He bestowed upon us a role model named Jesus. I respect all beliefs if they are pure and stress love, stewardship, honor and morals.

Arbel Posted January 31, 2016 #6 Share Posted January 31, 2016 Hi Roy I agree with every thing you have stated about the worship of God as the names God and Jesus are being wiped off the face of the earth and Christians are being murdered all over the world. I can tell you this much that change is coming and proof will be given that God exists and that is no joke. It has been a long time in coming but the higher powers have declared that our world has gone evil and it will not be tolerated. A number of years ago I kept getting the words we have to go back to the beginning and that took some time to figure that statement out. That message was really saying we are going right back to the beginning of how every thing happened and how mankind descended from the living God Remember the millennium when all the fireworks were going of and everyone was celebrating the new year; I was sitting alone that night and I just thought to myself what are they really celebrating when suddenly I was told that mankind were celebrating the beginning of the end and you Roy are the first one I have given that information to

Hyades Posted January 31, 2016 #8 Share Posted January 31, 2016 Worship, I would have a commonality with ''To honor and love as a deity - in FreeDictionary'', but it's in line with the elements that sustains life, Air, Water, Earth, Fire, Aether, Sun. Everyday, I salute, and thanks these, without them, non-existence. When life bring in difficult time, sickness, I invite these energies in, I also invite Spirits of the invisible world, and at other time, I used remnants of Christian values, Jesus Christ as the representative of the Creator.

StarMountainKid Posted January 31, 2016 #11 Share Posted January 31, 2016 I worship silence. A silent mind. When we worship anything else we are worshiping thoughts, conceptions created by the mind. A quiet attentive and alert mind is at its most receptive. There is enough external noise around us, why create internal noise? In my view, we cannot become aware of our innermost being when our attention is constantly upon a busy mind. Just listen, we may hear our true self speak to us in its own way, and discover something new we hadn't expected.

Bendy Demon Posted January 31, 2016 #13 Share Posted January 31, 2016 I don't "worship" anyone or anything. There are things and people I appreciate and feel are important in my life but I certainly don't construct altars or grovel on my knees begging forgiveness just because I was born human.

EEHC Posted February 1, 2016 #19 Share Posted February 1, 2016 (edited) I revere the Universe and nature in it's sheer magnificence. The Earth, the Stars and Galaxies. The Supreme Mind above all which I believe made it possible. The chance that we have to experience reality cannot be overstated, although it is so easily forgotten in times of pains and sufferings. I prefer 'revering' to the word 'worshipping' but I guess it doesn't really matter at the end of the day. When one knows something to be greater than oneself one usually bows in modesty. SHaYap Posted February 1, 2016 #23 Share Posted February 1, 2016 ~ ~ Nature and Freedom - ~ Immanuel Kant First published Thu May 20, 2010; substantive revision Mon Jan 25, 2016 Immanuel Kant (1724–1804) is the central figure in modern philosophy. He synthesized early modern rationalism and empiricism, set the terms for much of nineteenth and twentieth century philosophy, and continues to exercise a significant influence today in metaphysics, epistemology, ethics, political philosophy, aesthetics, and other fields. The fundamental idea of Kant's “critical philosophy” — especially in his three Critiques: the Critique of Pure Reason (1781, 1787), the Critique of Practical Reason (1788), and the Critique of the Power of Judgment (1790) — is human autonomy. He argues that the human understanding is the source of the general laws of nature that structure all our experience; and that human reason gives itself the moral law, which is our basis for belief in God, freedom, and immortality. Therefore, scientific knowledge, morality, and religious belief are mutually consistent and secure because they all rest on the same foundation of human autonomy, which is also the final end of nature according to the teleological worldview of reflecting judgment that Kant introduces to unify the theoretical and practical parts of his philosophical system. *** 7. The unity of nature and freedom This final section briefly discusses how Kant attempts to unify the theoretical and practical parts of his philosophical system in the Critique of the Power of Judgment. plato stanford edu link ~
