Still Waters Posted February 1, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 1, 2016 Fishermen have been given a fright after a weird-looking creature with scales, feet, toes and a human-like nose was discovered in the ocean. The strange hybrid, which has human-like feet allowing it to walk across the seabed, was hauled out of the depths of in the Caribbean. http://www.mirror.co...s-human-7284569

Still Waters Posted February 3, 2016 Author #6 Share Posted February 3, 2016 Batfish. You can find loads of videos of them on youtube. The bizarre alien human like freak fish discovered a couple of days is, in fact, the widespread shortnose batfish (Ogcocephalus nasutus) http://marketbusines...to-panic/123332
Oniomancer Posted February 3, 2016 #7 Share Posted February 3, 2016 Just goes to show that fisherman are a cowardly, superstitious lot.
freetoroam Posted February 3, 2016 #8 Share Posted February 3, 2016 (edited) I can understand a fisherman may have not have seen this particular fish before, but someone could have educated them after and explained it is a known fish and nothing to jump overboard about. And what "experts" have been left baffled by this well know fish? experts in what = the life of flies? That would negate the need for a YouTube vid and media coverage though.

Some people bypass the "reasons and explanation sites" and jump straight into making a "what is this strange thing"........this is nothing to do with laziness, it is more of a case of they wanna be the first to witness something never seen before by man.
