141 Posted February 1, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 1, 2016 Hidden Lion Population Discovered in Ethiopia A population of at least 100 lions has lived undiscovered in northwest Ethiopia — until now. Researchers in Oxford’s Wildlife Conservation Research Unitidentified the elusive lions during an exploration of the Alatash National Park, where they knew the animals could potentially live but had never been recorded. The team set up camera traps to spot the lions, New Scientist reports. http://time.com/4202274/hidden-lions-ethiopia/?xid=homepage Hope they won't shoot them up , too ... wonderful creatures
Goodnite Posted February 1, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 1, 2016 It's always good to let nature alone. I wish the pride all the best.
Ashotep Posted February 1, 2016 #3 Share Posted February 1, 2016 Now someone will just have to kill one which makes me wish they hadn't discovered them. Never say never but the researcher is right it could be the last time a new population is discovered.
