1. The Two Matrix Sequels were filmed Simultaneously over a 270 Day Period

2. The Two Matrix Sequels cost 300 Million US dollars which is more than the whole Lord of the Rings Trilogy

3. They Employed 800 people full time and 2500 people part time for 18 months

4. There will be a 14 minute Car chase scene Which according to producer Joel Silver is the most complicated action scene ever shot

5. Keanu Reeves refused to take any promotional shots with weapons

6. Since the release of the matrix bullet time has been copied in Pootie Tang, Charlies Angels, Shrek, Scary movie and Swordfish etc

7. The Sequels scripts are so closely guarded each actors script is watermarked on every page so it cant be photocopied

8. Two Actresses passed away during production. Aaliyah , who was then replaced by Nona Gaye (Ali) and Gloria Foster (Oracle) who had shot most of her scenes for Matrix 2 but none for Matrix 3

9. Reeves got a 10 million dollar paycheck for Matrix original and 35 million as a share of profits,

9(b)This time he will either get 30 million dollars or 15 percent of profits, whichever is more.

10. Jade Pinkett Smith trained for 18 months for the matrix sequels as Niobe, Morpheus's Ex girlfriends. and put on 15 pounds of muscle whicle breastfeeding her newborn baby

11. Jet Li and Michelle Yeoh were approached but declined to do the sequels

12. No Studio has released two films of the same series since 1966's Murderers Row and The Silencers

13. 2500 Special effects were created for the sequels, In the original movie there were 412

14. Keanu Reeves lent the production 38 million dollars to pay for special effects

15. According to Warner Bros. The first matrix trailer was downloaded 20 million times from the internet in the first week

16. The Three Principle actors Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Ann Moss and Laurence Fishburne were injured during the shoot

huh.gif I don't understand this statement.  Is the Matrix movie sequals different from the Jaws, Rambo, Mad Max, etc, type sequals? huh.gif

                                                  I think what was meant was two sequels eleased so closely together. Rambo, Mad MAX, Jaws and any other movie with a sequel or sequels have years between the release dates.
